Quote Of The Week
In a chat on Boston.com yesterday, Eddie was was asked: "Between you, sam and kg, has there ever been a quiet moment in the locker room?"
No there isn't. Usually the one doing all the talking is Kevin. He's got a story for everything. He's got more stories than Dr. Seuss.
Quote Of The Week
When Doc Rivers said that besides Garnett, the one player who is always present on the team’s off days is Glen ‘Big Baby’ Davis.
“If he doesn’t come every day, he would be ‘Bigger Baby’,” joked Rivers.
Quote Of The Week
When Kevin Garnett was asked about the reputation they've earned as a team, he said:
"We've built that," Garnett said. "It wasn't something that [the media] gave us. It wasn't that we went to the store and bought it. It wasn't like we went online and got it. It's something that we obtained. It's something that we went out and achieved. That's something that each and every last one of these players in here, along with the staff, members of the Celtics, we all as one went out and got that."

When the Globe's Dan Shaughnessy asked Sox owner John Henry if the whole Schilling situation is a little awkward. He answers with this beauty.
"Sometimes there are things that are awkward," said the owner. "You can't avoid them. It's really awkward talking with you."

Last week when Leon Powe hit the game winning shot at the buzzer, he said this:
“I just made a good hustle play, that’s it. I didn’t do anything extra. It wasn’t like it was a fadeaway Michael Jordan shot.”
Quote Of The Week
This Quote comes from Celtics rookie forward Glen Davis who goes by the popular nickname "Big Baby." He wants to add a second nickname.
I like "The Ticket Stub." "We got 'The Ticket' [Garnett]," Davis said. "And I look like a stub, so I'm 'The Ticket Stub
Quote Of The Week
I just saw this comment and thought it was funny, so I'm now starting a new segment, The Quote of the week.
This week's comment comes from Patriots WR Donte' Stallworth talking about his 53-yard fourth-quarter reception and getting tackled from behind.
"I just know I stuck one hand out there and I tried to tip it to myself and I was just thinking, ‘Run Forrest. Run.’ But obviously I wish I was Forrest because Forrest never got caught. ... I’ve already got like 15 texts from guys back home and guys in the locker room have been killing me. It hurts, but we got the win and that’s good."
