Ray Gets Married In Front Of Special Guest

The Herald reports Ray Allen tied the knot with his sweetheart of 12 years, Shannon Walker Williams, in a posh private ceremony on Martha’s Vineyard this past weekend.

Allen, 33, who has been engaged to Shannon, also 33, for five years, swapped vows with his beaming bride at a rented waterfront estate in front of a small group of family and friends. The couple’s three kids, Tierra, Ray III and Walker, were front and center along with a special guest - the Larry O’Brien Trophy that Ray and the rest of the Celts won this past June.

The shooting star and his bride were serenaded by Grammy nominee Brian McKnight, who sang his hit “Never Felt This Way” as Shannon walked down the aisle. It was the very song with which Ray had proposed

I am pretty sure if I asked my wife for us to have the Larry O'Brien Trophy at our wedding she would've laughed at me, but then again I had nothing to do with winning it. Maybe if I brought in Brian McKnight to sing and THEN asked about the trophy should would've let me.
