Clemens Apparently Mis-Remembers The Truth

Here are a couple of video clips from today's Congressional hearing on steroid use in Major League Baseball starring Roger Clemens and Brian McNamee.  I'll come right out and say that I think Clemens is lying his a** off, and not doing a very good job of it at that.  I'm also well aware that McNamee is no angel, but I do believe him regarding the major details of this issue.  From all reports, Clemens is willing to go to whatever lengths it takes to defend his reputation and legacy.  If he truly is innocent in all of this, then I can't imagine being in the position that he's in, and he certainly has the right to defend himself.  But does anyone really think he is innocent at this point?  If he had come right out after the Mitchell Report was released and pulled the Andy Pettitte or Rodney Harrison reasoning for using PED's, many fans would have been dissappointed, but I believe most would have forgiven him and moved on.  He is now way past the point of no return.  Hey, at least he's a basball titan.

In the clip below, Clemens was squirming early on in the hearing while being questioned by Rep. Elijah Cummings of Maryland

Check out this other clip featuring Rep. Dan Burton of Indiana embarrasing himself and his State. This guy might possibly be more of a joke than Clemens. If any Colts fans are checking this site, please share your thoughts on how this clown was elected to office. Unfortunately, this is only two of the five minutes that he spoke...I suggest you try to find the whole clip to fully appreciate how dumb Burton must be.
