McDaniels Isn't Going Anywhere!

Josh Hayes So do you think Lane Kiffin regrets leaving USC last year to become the head coach of the Oakland Raiders? Yeah...me too! I was praying that 31 year-old Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels would not make the same mistake and it now seems as though he knows a good thing when it's staring him right in the face. That good thing is not an NFL head coaching position...it's Bill Belichick and the New England Patriots. McDaniels will have plenty of time to be a head coach in the future, but right now he is offensive coordinator of the most prolific offense in NFL history, working under the best coach in NFL history, and sending calls to a QB who will most likely go down as the best to ever play the position. Seems like a good situation to me. I'm guessing McDaniels is not living paycheck to paycheck and spending some more time learning from Belichick will only help him when he does decide to take the next step. I applaud McDaniels for not chasing the money and instead doing the smart thing...staying right where he is in New England!
